As a Sr. Software Product Manager, you will work on creating a scalable engineering platform - an ecosystem of internally built applications that supports all product development activities. 
You will be focused on long-term and short-term product vision to harmonize business processes and technical solutions. The product manager collaborates closely with the UI/UX designers, 
development teams and integrations team to develop and execute a roadmap of system solutions needed to support key business processes. You prioritize the backlog and translate 
requirements into workable user stories. 


Job Description:

•	Partner with business stakeholders to plan, estimate, and prioritize development work efforts and manage the sprint lifecycle through feature design to production release  
•	Lead cross-functional agile teams across engineering, quality, and operations, through development and launch of new features and technologies  
•	Align the product vision and roadmap with feature solutions and deployment release schedule  
•	Translate requirements into workable user stories to plan, prioritize, and estimate sprint activities and backlog 
•	Support development and quality engineer teams to ensure feature acceptance criteria are met

Lead/manage team members and projects during development of interior components for multiple OEM’s.  Provide materials engineering support to manufacturing 
facilities and new product development projects.  


Job Description:

•	Utilize team members and various resources to ensure the customers’ expectations are met or exceeded.
•	Support Engineering Manager to ensure successful RFQ and quotation of new business by defining product requirements based on customer SOR.
•	Create engineering budget for specific products (manpower, expenses, etc).
•	Utilize lessons learned and continuous improvement activities to ensure robust proposals.
•	Application of engineering practices/principles
	o	Use of computer aided design tools, application of problem solving techniques and adherence to procedures to enable quality completion of all project deliverables.
•	Support the design and development of automotive interior parts.
	o	Provide material expertise in the selection of materials during development
	o	Initiate and execute VA/VE improvements through material selection
	o	Evaluate materials based on requirements and performance specifications of the automotive interior parts.

Minimum Requirements:

Job Description:

PCB Design:
Design and implement high speed and mixed signal PCB layout designs to automotive standards. 
Drive and own PCB designs for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), BMS (Battery Management Systems), 
Body systems, and Infotainment Systems. These systems will include HDI (High density interconnect) design practices, 
high speed (DDR4, PCIE, CSI, LVDS), HV, and Mixed Signal design. Improve package designs by solving challenges of 
space constraints while making performance tradeoffs. Build and maintain our component library and be responsible for 
its integrity.

Manufacturing:
Improve and optimize durability and performance for automotive designs. Work with our contract manufacturer
to develop our design rules for manufacturing and taking in implementing DFM feedback, to ensure our designs are manufacturable 
and manufactured to a high standard.

Process Development:
Contribute to overall process and workflow development between engineering and design. 
You will be responsible for configuring our ECAD tool to make sure it flows into the overall Rivian design and release process.

Zoom Out & Deep Dive:
Think holistically. Understand impact of your plan or decision to program and customers. 
Deep dive into technical issues to drive data driven decisions.

Most Important Skills/Responsibilities:
•	Experience with Altium Designer tools

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who understands the lay of the land of this rapidly growing EV marketplace. 
Our team focusses on providing software stack for Design Verification of the PCBAs & ECUs (Electronic Component Units). 
You will be writing RTOS drivers for the PCBA components, be involved on the Board bring-up, doing s/w prototypes for 
early "h/w + s/w co-designs", validation test cases in Python/C.

Job Description:

•	Design, develop and deploy embedded software on RTOS for board bring-up, verification, and debugging of automotive electronics
•	Collaborate across multiple disciplines to deliver quality code, debug complex problems with high level of efficiency and urgency.
•	Ability to debug in real time across s/w and h/w stack to understand the real issues and provide solutions, work and collaborate with multiple teams if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

•	5+ years' experience in C/C++ programming skills

Job Title: Senior Fuel Economy Certification Engineer [Job Code: 240102]    CLICK TO APPLY



Job Description:

•	Plan and conduct vehicle level testing, and analysis of test results to ensure Rivian products meet global Range and Efficiency targets.
•	Perform Fuel Economy tests and understand test procedures for global markets, including but not limited to North America, Europe, and other markets.
•	Perform Range and Efficiency calculations to determine Fuel Economy label numbers.
•	Manage documentation of test assets, software and calibration build levels, and keep track of hardware and software changes over time to ensure compliance with regulations and certifications.
•	Monitor the status of global regulations as they are updated and research new market entry testing requirements, including vehicle requirements, test equipment, facilities, and procedures.
•	Work with Vehicle Engineering, Vehicle Integration, hardware and software teams to ensure correlation of test results to real world expected behavior while achieving functional objectives.
•	Troubleshoot and support during chassis dynamometer certification testing. On/off site.
•	Compile fleet average fuel economy / GHG reports, pre and post model year sales volumes.
•	Support of powertrain development assisting in detailed data analysis and test validation.
•	Process development/optimization for power analyzers and energy calculations.
•	Support development of Battery Electric Vehicles and certification through the design of test procedures, identifying testing facilities and equipment to develop and deliver a product to market efficiently and effectively.
•	Oversee competitive bench marking for fuel economy, performance, capability, and drivability.
•	Oversee Coastdowns and vehicle road load determinations.
•	Expected traveling within the US (up to 25%)


Minimum Requirements:

•	3-5 years’ experience in automotive industry for the Sr. Engineer position.
•	Bachelor of Science in Motorsports Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or related Engineering field.
•	Understanding of Industry Standards (such as SAE) and Regulations (US, EU, and China) regarding vehicle fuel economy and emissions testing and labeling requirements.
•	Demonstrated reliability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
•	Deep curiosity to understand the product and how the regulations may be applied.
•	Experience with formal requirement management tools (Confluence, Jira, and Design Verification Plan and Report, etc.) preferred.
•	Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the Rivian organization as well as with external suppliers and vendors
